Get to know the couple.

Brandi is a California native who thoroughly enjoys reading, binge watching shows for the umpteenth time on Netflix and most types of physical activity. She spends her days as an Email Production Manager and her nights dreaming of running away to join the circus full time so she can get paid to wear brightly colored bodysuits while doing handstands on top of other humans.
Jason was born in Colorado but grew up in a suburb of Portland, OR. Growing up, he kept busy with video games, playing guitar, and entertaining a proclivity for computers. His earlier hobbies later translated into an intense passion for coffee, a serious rock climbing hobby and a career in web development. This kick ass site you’re perusing on your way to RSVP is a product of his.
Jason and Brandi met NYE 2014. They started climbing together with friends at a bouldering gym. Bouldering sessions with groups turned into bouldering sessions with only each other, which led to post-climb burgers. Burgers turned into late night coffee and talking about books, which led to inappropriate jokes and a penchant for getting pizza at 2 am so they could sustain themselves while binge watching the Walking Dead. Now, they want to watch the Walking Dead and drink coffe for the rest of their lives together. Marriage is the obvious next step.
We’ll feed you an awesome brunch and drinks right after the ceremony. But don’t come hangry!
The venue is located on the 4th floor of the building. It is handicapped accessible and there is an elevator. Weather in the month of July in Oregon typically has the least rain, with temperatures often reaching mid-80s. The ceremony will take place on an uncovered patio. There will be seating on the patio and a covered portion of the adjoining atrium. This area will not have air conditioning. The reception will be held directly afterward and will take place mostly inside the restaurant, which does have air conditioning.
We’re requesting that our very short and sweet wedding ceremony be completely unplugged and cellphone/camera-free. We’ll have a fantastic photographer named Alex who will be documenting it to ensure that guests can enjoy the moment.
As soon as the ceremony is over, feel free to pull out your camera for the reception and go crazy - take as many pictures as your heart desires! We only ask that you not share any pictures of the newlyweds on social media. Most of you already know how Brandi feels about people bein’ in her business.
There is Pay-to-Park street parking along East Burnside for several blocks. There is also free street parking in the residential area nearby.
There are some delicious places to eat and drink in this town. Check out some of our faves:
Shop at Portland Saturday Market and walk down row upon row of unique, handcrafted items, choose from a plethora of exotic foods to eat while listening to live music.
Visit Powell’s City of Books to explore the largest used and new bookstore in the world. It takes up an entire city block and holds approximately one million books spread through 9 color-coded rooms and over 3,500 different sections including out-of-print and hard-to-find titles.
Want to kick it in the outdoors? Visit the International Rose Test Garden or take a hike in Forest Park, Portland’s 5,200 acre urban forest. If you’d like more hiking options, hop in the car and head 35 minutes east and check out one of the many hikes in the Columbia River Gorge.
All we want on this day is to get married with you all there to heckle us and celebrate with breakfast food, coffee and bubbly. That said, we’ve decided not to register for gifts.
If you’d like to give beyond what you've already given us (plane tickets, hotel stays, your time, and more), feel free to sneak some cash into the reception which we will use on our next adventure: Puerto Vallarta.
